Societies have always been shaped more by the nature of the media by which men communicate than by the content of the communication.
No one seems to ever be on the same page. I think that when you meet someone that is on the same page as you it's an amazing feeling and you like it but only every now and then. I think if we spent our time around people who were only on the same page as us all the time we would never have the opportunity to read any of the other pages and be opened up to new ideas. That's the point of communicating isn't it? But most people just say things that they think will impact other people instead of what they may actually think is right and that builds up a wall between people who are always trying to make something happen instead of actually what they want or feel. Society has become a place where saying what you actually think is wrong and therefore people do less of it. The world would be better if people did good things for others and what they knew was right instead of what a few people who can craft what they say better than others say we should do. Good communication comes from how well you do it, not what you're actually saying and I think that's a problem.
